Biography

Music for Television, Film and Theatre.

Matthews musical studies began at an early age with a interest in latin percussion and drums, and he also spent several years studying piano, guitar, and marimba. Much of the 1990's were spent touring with various bands honing his percussion skills playing a mixture of Jazz / Funk - going on to tour the UK and Europe with various projects.

Since the late 90s Matt has concentrated more on writing material for the media - both film and theatre - and has work featured in several high profile audio libraries in the UK and U.S. Recent clients including the Visual Mercinary Group in New York, The American Beverage Corporation, Land Rover and BBC Bristol.
Matt works from his home studio in Devon, using Logic 9 and Digidesign Pro Tools 9 platforms.

Matthew has distinctions and national awards in Composition and Post Production for Music and Sound for Film and TV.

Matthew is also a woodartist /sculptor, and has work in public and private collections worldwide.
